Working With CD-Re-Writable (CD-RW) Discs

In addition to working with DVD+/-R and CD+/-R discs, the 5000 can also

copy both to and from DVD and CD RE-Writable (DVD/RW CD/RW)

discs.

CD-RW Supported Formats

The 5000 can copy CD-RW discs written in most logical formats (ISO

9660, audio, etc.) but not those created using the Universal Disk Format

(UDF). CD-RW discs using UDF are produced by packet writing software

(such as Adaptec DirectCD, CeQuadrat PacketCD, Prassi abCD, etc.).

Because UDF discs cannot be read by all CD-ROM drives, they are not a

good choice for distributing data.
